Changing from a Consumer to a Producer

It is so much easier to consume than to produce. We consume in many ways everyday, whether its reading blogs and news, listening to lectures and forgetting what has been taught afterwards, shopping, eating, etc.

I have tried to make the jump from being a mere consumer to a producer over the last year in 2007, but I have let myself go too easily, and have not stuck to my plans. Its nice and easy to say, “I want to be like Paul Graham, or Guy Kawasaki,” and write such intelligent and witty works that inspire lots of people around the world, but actually getting to that level is a whole new ball game altogether.
